Party in the House Design Challenge Spotlight: Bello Design Group
Our friends at Bello Design Group (Kent Shaw from Kenton Shaw Interior Design, and Christie Crawford from Crawford and Company) are having some fun bringing timeless style to a few gently used rattan and iron furniture items for their 2019 Party In the House Design Challenge Vignette.

Bello Design Group approaches each design project with a timeless and classical theme to avoid a trendy and/or dated look over time while reflecting the client’s lifestyle and personality, Their vignette is no different, Kent and Christie picked out these seemingly random pieces from our warehouse, and the seasonal items inspired them to design an outdoor terrace setting as their Design Challenge Vignette.
The team is pulling together a combination of items from its showroom to supplement the donated items and present a fully designed Vignette that will be on display and available to the highest bidder in the silent auction at the Party in the House event. Bello Design Group and New Life Furniture Bank
In its second year as a Design Challenge participant, Bello Design Group is dedicated to contributing their time and talents to this worthy cause to increase awareness and funding for New Life Furniture Bank.
“It’s so easy for the design community and the general public to help New Life Furniture Bank by thinking of them when they have items they want to donate. It’s a win-win for everyone,” said Shaw.
More Information on Party in the House and the Design Challenge
2019 marks the second annual Party in the House fund- and friend-raiser, and Design Challenge. The Design Challenge invites Cincinnati’s top interior designers to give “new life” to gently used items hand-picked from the NLFB Warehouse and reimagined in a Vignette to be revealed at the Party in the House event. This year’s Design Challenge features 12 designers and eight Vignettes. In this first of eight designer spotlights, we profile Bello Design Group.
