Distribution Process
How do we get furniture to families in need?
Generous Folks Donate Furniture To New Life Furniture Bank
Individuals, businesses, churches, community groups (you name it!) all donate furniture & household items to help make a house a home for their neighbors in need.
We Purchase Beds When Needed
We are committed to making sure that every child we serve has a bed to sleep on, so when donations of gently used beds don’t keep up with demand, we purchase NEW beds from your generous cash donations. Learn more about our Beds For Sleepyheads program and make a financial donation today.
Volunteers Build Furniture In Our Woodshop and Sort/Pack Household Donations For Delivery
We wouldn’t exist without the volunteers who put in over 200 hours each month to make sure we can fill orders to furnish over 1400 homes a year. Learn more about our Furniture Build program or sign up to volunteer in our warehouse with your family, friends, or co-workers.
Agencies Request Furniture For Qualified Individuals Receiving Supportive Services
Each family can request up to 18 pieces of furniture PLUS any housewares they need including pots, pans, dishes, small kitchen appliances, linens and wish list items like a television, vacuum, microwave, or other need. If we’ve GOT IT we GIVE IT! Learn more about our Partner Agencies.
We Deliver Furniture & Pick Up Donations 6 Days A Week, Collecting Over 30,000 Items and Furnish Over 2300 Homes A Year.
Our trucks and distribution team are on the road Monday – Saturday delivering and setting up furnishings in the homes of neighbors in need and picking up donations from those who have some to spare. Learn more about what we accept and schedule a furniture donation pick up
