April is National Volunteer Month, and you are invited to DO GOOD by joining New Life Furniture Bank in helping make a house a home for families in need. It’s easy to DO GOOD and make a BIG impact for someone starting over
We could not fulfill our mission without the help of our volunteers! Giving back to the community by volunteering is a great way to DO GOOD for our neighbors in need, for the community, and for our world. It’s also a great way to gain a new or unique perspective, learn a new skill, and meet like-minded people.
Whether you have an hour to give a month, a week, or every day – we have a place for you! Together we can truly make a difference. Volunteer today to DO GOOD and help change lives for those starting over. Our goal is to furnish at least 2400 homes this year and we need your help!

DO GOOD and VOLUNTEER to make a house a home
Our goal in 2023 is furnish at least 2,400 homes for families overcoming homelessness, extreme poverty, and other devastating circumstances. In a typical week are fully furnishing around 50 homes. That’s 50 sofas, 50 kitchen tables, 50+ beds, dressers, nightstands, end tables, kitchen chairs, lamps, and more! We need your HELP! DO GOOD by donating your gently used home furnishings to New Life Furniture Bank and help make a house a home for a family in need.
When you DONATE you also DO GOOD for the planet! Did you know that every year, an estimated 12 million tons of furniture end up in U.S. landfills? It’s a staggering number that we can all help to reduce, all while helping those in need in our community. Last year we collected and distributed 27,274 pieces of furniture to families starting over. That’s over 700 tons of solid waste potentially diverted from our landfills. Donate your gently used home furnishings and they will go directly into the home of someone in need. We can’t do it without YOU!
