Furniture Donation Pickup in the
Dayton Area
At New Life Furniture Bank, we’re proud to serve the Dayton community by providing furniture donations to those in need. But we couldn’t do it without your help. If you’re located near the Dayton area, we offer a convenient pickup service. Give back to your community, get rid of what you don’t want, and reduce waste—all at the same time!

- We can pick up items that support our mission. See acceptable items list below.
- No pickup fee required, but please consider a $50 gas donation online (no cash).
Don’t forget! You can include clothing, home decor, and other small items to sell in our thrift store (as long as you are donating furniture too)!

Please see acceptable furniture items below. We accept gently used or new items in “dignity condition” (no rips, stains, or pet hair) so that we can serve our neighbors in need with not only furnishings, but hope and comfort.
Our drivers reserve the right to decline items that do not align with our mission. If you agree that an item needs to be disposed of, an additional disposal fee may apply.
If you experience any problems with our scheduling platform, please call our office at 513-313-0530 and leave a message. We will call you promptly and schedule for you over the phone.
Furniture donors may occasionally offer our pickup crews personal cash tips. These are voluntary and not tracked by New Life Furniture Bank. We do not accept cash donations during furniture pickups—mission gifts should be made securely online.

Acceptable Furniture Items
- Sofa/Loveseat/Sectional (no motorized or sleepers) No stains, tears, or pet hair
- Living Room Chairs/Rocking Chair/Recliner (not motorized)
- Coffee table/End table/Side table
- Lamps: Table and Floor
- Bookshelf (no taller than 6′)
- TV stands (no entertainment centers)
- Dining Room tables and chairs
- Buffet/sideboard (no china cabinets or hutches)
- Kitchen tables and chairs
- Bar stools
- Mattresses/Box springs: Twin, Full, or Queen (no King size) No stains, tears, or pet hair
- Bed frames: simple assembly (no king size; no captain’s beds, platform beds, water beds, trundle/daybeds, bunk beds, or loft beds)
- Dressers/chests of drawers
- Nightstands
- Small desks w/chair: no wider than 40″
- Patio tables and chairs
- Lounge Chairs/Chaise

- We do not accept any items that are broken, stained, torn, has pet hair, or are beyond gently used.
- King-sized mattresses or box springs
- Armoires/Entertainment centers
- Lawn equipment
- Waterbeds, platform beds, bunk beds, trundle/day beds, and captain’s beds
- Baby furniture or baby equipment (due to numerous factory recalls)
- Office/Executive desks
- Pianos/organs
- Used stuffed animals
- Large appliances: washers/dryers, refrigerators, etc.
- Medical beds
- Firearms

New Distribution Center at CityThrift Location
We all believe that a house without furniture is not a home, so New Life and St. Vincent de Paul Dayton is joining together to ensure that no one is sleeping on the floor.
Donating furniture is a great way to help get neighbors off the floor and into a home, and now you can drop off furniture at CityThrift- St. Vincent de Paul, and New Life Furniture Bank will distribute the furniture to qualifying families living in Dayton.

It’s easy! Just schedule a furniture pick up online or call 513-313-0530 during business hours and we can add your donation to our pick up schedule.
We pick up furniture throughout the Dayton area in the following zip codes:

We’re now accepting a larger variety of furniture and other items such as home decor, rugs, clothing & jewelry, and much more! We also accept household items like dishes, bowls, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, bakeware and bedding. Please see a complete list of items here.
Needs fluctuate depending on inventory, but we are always in great need of beds, mattresses, sofas and dressers.
Yes. We accept new and gently used mattresses that are free of rips, tears, stains or pet hair.
Sorry, we don’t accept furniture with a stain or tear. We want to make sure we deliver gently used furniture to people in need. Our goal is to give people hope & dignity with each furniture delivery.
