Party In The House
What a night!
We raised over $50,000 at our 4th annual Party in the House on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at High St. Design Studio to help furnish the homes of families in need.
The evening was filled with excitement and celebration and included an open bar & delicious bites, an opportunity to meet Cincinnat’s top designers, and vote and bid on the gorgeous design pieces. Twenty of Cincinnati’s finest interior designers participated in a Design Challenge and revealed the furniture pieces they re-imagined from donated items in New Life Furniture Bank’s warehouse. The short program highlighted Design with a Heart, New Life Furniture Bank’s special partnership program with local interior designers, followed by the “People’s Choice Award” for the most loved re-imagined piece in the 2021 Design Challenge.
2021 People's Choice Winners
Congratulations to our 2021 People’s Choice Award winners Julie Anne Baur and Chandler Detkas, from Winding Lane Interiors. Baur and Dektas reimagined a formerly faux-distressed, tired-looking coffee table with a fabulous makeover turning it into an updated classic with fabulous Asian influences. All of the designers did an inspiring job reimagining the gently-used furniture items.
