Our volunteer woodworkers collaborate each month with individuals and groups from our community to build, from pre-cut materials, furniture that will be included in deliveries to those we serve. Spaces are limited for each table buidling session, so please register in advance by emailing us at: [email protected] and please include all names of those wishing to volunteer, phone number, and address. Furniture builds start at 9am.
These pieces of furniture — end tables, kitchen tables, shelving units — help supplement the donated furniture we collect and use to furnish empty homes where families and individuals are living after transitioning out of a homeless shelter, escaping abuse and other devastating circumstance.
