I have never seen such an unprofessional and careless delivery service. These men pulled their enormous truck in my small driveway and mangled my shade tree. They left trash and the tree they destroyed right in the driveway. Leaving me to clean up their mess. They weren’t here for me and should have never been in my driveway. They were lazy and obnoxious. - Katie Redding - 8/29/2024

I had a wonderful experience donating a couch to Newlife. The movers were timely, helpful, and very kind. Definitely will be using them again to donate furniture in the future. - Emily Brown - 8/22/2024

Awlful! Beware of the associated organization. Resupply. I wanted to donate a dining room table with four chairs, a living room couch, chair and exercise bike. All of these items were in excellent condition and I thought a needy family could truely benefit from this donation. I did not have to pay a mover to donate these items I could have sold them outright and made a profit. Instead of coming out of my pocket to pay a mover to pick them up so I could donate them. New Life's website indicates they will pick up items only if they donot have to enter your home. Thats where Resupply comes in. If the items cannot be moved to a common area they want you to pay the movers contracted through Resupply to move the items. it's a racket. I called New Life to get a quote and was told the only way to get a quote from Resupply is through the website. I went through the website against my better judgement and was given what I considered a reasonable quote for a donation pickup of $150. + $10 fee to hold the date. When the movers arrived not only did they not follow the directions that were clearly given in the text exchange between myself and the driver Vince earlier that morning, in addition I provided an itemized description of each of the items that was being donated. All of a sudden when the Resupply movers arrives the quote went from $150 to $270 weven though they had a itemized list of each of the items being donated. So, there was no reason for the price to change from the original quote. I absolutely did not agree to the increased quote and I told the movers as much. Vince said, let me call dispatch, he did and I told the dispatcher the same thing. I advised him to cancel this pickup donation and I that I did not agree to the increased quote of $270 to move 7 items with a dolly that I had provided. I clearly articulated this transaction was cancelled and I did not agree to the new terms. But my credit card was billed for this charge anyway. I contacted Resupply by email and advised them of this charge and they have not responded. This whole organization is suspect,so beware. - Vicki Kidd - 6/22/2024

For people to say they fully furnished a house is a joke I think it’s crazy they pick and choose I helped someone move with their furniture they got the whole house couch coffee table all her kids got bed she got a bed pots pan everything I moved out later at the beginning of the year which I was told is better (more funding) I got no pots or pans I was brought a couch that the guys delivering even stated I need to clean first (cool story but how because we moved from the shelter with nothing) only 2 of my 4 children got a bed they brought bedding for 1 bed which caused a fight this place and shelters are making it sound like they will help you and then the help is very minimal so if you are planning to use them for furniture be realistic about your needs they won’t supply it - Courtney Detty - 2/25/2024

I would advise anyone not to get furniture from New Life. They delivered a bed bug infested couch and a filthy box spring with bed bug covering on it with holes in it. When I finally reach someone on the phone. I was told it was lent on my white new blanket not BB's. And the box spring they never addressed. Now Im stuck with my apartment possibly being infested if I dont get these items out my new apartment. DONT DO IT!!! - Sandra Smith - 11/24/2021

I had a bed that was less than a year old to donate and they came to my house and decided they wouldn't take it because it had a bug on it. I'd know if it had bed bugs and it definitely didn't - plus it's cicada season, so isn't it difficult to have the world's most pristine stuff in that regard? They told me to take it to Rumpke, which I'm absolutely NOT doing because it's a perfectly good mattress that someone could use for several more years! I'm hopeful St Vincent DePaul will take it, but don't donate stuff to NLFB! - Eileen Crowe - 9/24/2021

Wonderful organization changing the lives of so many. We got many items of furniture together to donate and called New Life . We scheduled a pick up. Two young men came for the pick up.Amazing young men who we could tell love what they do. They told stories of how excited people get when they move into their new furnished home. We will definitely call again.Just wish we knew about your organization earlier. - Helen Woeste - 6/12/2021 -

I represent the St. Vincent de Paul Conferences of Cincinnati. New Life Furniture is our Partner, and they serve a vital role in our joint mission to end homelessness in Hamilton County. New Life will completely furnish some 200 homes this year through referrals from St. Vincent de Paul. Their goal is to create 1000 homes from empty spaces in 2020. St. Vincent de Paul is thankful for New Life's niche in the Cincinnati social services network. Charley Pittinger - Charley Pittinger - 3/09/2021 -

They were 20 minutes late after the 4 hour window they gave me. After verifying on the phone what we were donating and that it was all things they accepted the people showed up and took an end table and the mattress(but not the frame). Leaving us with a porch of perfectly good furniture that we aren't planning on moving with us. I'm sure they do a lot of good and provide a lot of services but if you are moving and want to donate your furniture, I would choose a different agency to donate to. - Rebecca Swanson Groves - 3/09/2021 -
