On December 12th, partnering agency, Mercy Health, gathered their Leadership Development Institute (LDI) employees and donated their time at our warehouse. An estimated 100 Mercy Health leaders teamed up to build furniture, assemble welcome kits, sort donations, and several other volunteer activities in support of New Life Furniture Bank. Thanks to our new facility, we were able to host this event….our largest ever!
“New Life Furniture Bank’s mission is a good match for us,” explains Allison Luntz, Mercy Health Manager of Strategic Initiatives. “For this ministry, the health of our communities is more than a program, it is a calling from our heritage. We provide an essential safety net for people who need our help. We appreciate the work that New Life does throughout the year, and we are thrilled to give our leadership team the chance to get directly involved.”
