In 2016, we will help approximately 600 families by providing them with up to 18 pieces of furniture.
New Life Furniture Bank will partner with commercial and institutional locations such as hotels, retirement centers, churches, colleges, and furniture stores. We pick-up furniture, store it in our warehouse, clean it and deliver it to people living in extreme poverty. Our goal is for all families living in the Greater Cincinnati area to live in furnished homes, thereby showing people they are loved and cared for by their community. We are enhancing the lives of who we serve by bringing new life into their home. As a result, families will be strengthened and they will have an improved quality of life. In 2016, we help 586 individuals and families by providing them with up to 18 pieces of furniture.
Please help us serve more families by donating beds, dressers, sofas, tables and chairs. Call 513-313-0530 to schedule a FREE pick-up (a $40 fuel donation is requested).

I would advise anyone not to get furniture from New Life. They delivered a bed bug infested couch and a filthy box spring with bed bug covering on it with holes in it. When I finally reach someone on the phone. I was told it was lent on my white new blanket not BB's. And the box spring they never addressed. Now Im stuck with my apartment possibly being infested if I dont get these items out my new apartment. DONT DO IT!!!

Wonderful organization changing the lives of so many. We got many items of furniture together to donate and called New Life . We scheduled a pick up. Two young men came for the pick up.Amazing young men who we could tell love what they do. They told stories of how excited people get when they move into their new furnished home. We will definitely call again.Just wish we knew about your organization earlier.

I had a bed that was less than a year old to donate and they came to my house and decided they wouldn't take it because it had a bug on it. I'd know if it had bed bugs and it definitely didn't - plus it's cicada season, so isn't it difficult to have the world's most pristine stuff in that regard? They told me to take it to Rumpke, which I'm absolutely NOT doing because it's a perfectly good mattress that someone could use for several more years! I'm hopeful St Vincent DePaul will take it, but don't donate stuff to NLFB!

They were 20 minutes late after the 4 hour window they gave me. After verifying on the phone what we were donating and that it was all things they accepted the people showed up and took an end table and the mattress(but not the frame). Leaving us with a porch of perfectly good furniture that we aren't planning on moving with us. I'm sure they do a lot of good and provide a lot of services but if you are moving and want to donate your furniture, I would choose a different agency to donate to.
